Find Your Passion in Life

Our generation has a great deal of time on our hands and we tend to spend more. Time without work and time without children can be a time of reflection and introspection for all of us. The things we love in life are not that easily found but rather we look for them out there. As human beings, we have so many things which makes us happy. Whether it is sports, books, family, friends, food, or something else, we all have some sort of interest or love for it.

How our Passions impact our Life

The way I see passion is when you set goals. Your goals should not just be big but they shouldn’t be so hard either. Goals that bring you joy should be achievable. Be willing to try, to make mistakes and accept failures. You want to be an artist or writer, a chef or cook. There is nothing wrong with making mistakes or getting frustrated at times as long as the learning process is worth it. When you are passionate about something, there will almost always be a failure along the way. That is why I say most humans do not know what their real passions are.

Do not worry, finding your true passions can be simple. All you need to do is follow your natural instincts.

It takes self-discovery to discover what your true interests are. Even though most people are interested in finding the right job, finding that perfect relationship, buying stock in stocks, finding a wife, having kids, and being successful in business, many of us still cannot find the thing that makes us truly excited. Without searching for those things, if you really have them, maybe you do not even have enough time. Do not worry, finding your true passions can be simple. All you need to do is follow your natural instincts.

How to find Your Passion

There are various paths in our future. Every ten minutes someone wakes up hungry, thirsty, or in pain. They have no clue what is going on in their life, whether it is stress related health issues, lack of sleep, boredom, illness, money problems, abuse, relationship troubles, etc. If you look around today, you will find that 90% of the world suffers from anxiety and/or depression. People who suffer from these conditions have no idea what their real passions are. One study says that approximately 80% of people who suffer from anxiety and/or depression also suffer from other mental conditions as well! What if these conditions become chronic? What if people are unproductive in their lives because they are unable to find satisfaction and happiness? And what if these same people are the ones suffering from diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, etc.? No matter what this situation looks like, it is never too late for people who struggle with depression or anxiety to start putting themselves first. Start giving yourself the chance, take charge of your own life and learn how to love yourself. Learn how to find your passions and start following your bliss. You have time and space for that. Find your true calling and start loving it.

Start your Passionate Journey

Life doesn’t revolve around your hobbies, social media accounts, or hobbies alone. But in fact, it revolves around your soul and your deepest desire to be known by others for who or what you are without judgment and other distractions. Learning how to live with yourself is crucial. Finding your authentic self is where all dreams begin. This kind of dreaming is what makes sure you can live on with your purpose every day. It is why I am here talking about finding and developing your passions. We all have them, they just need a little effort and guidance to find them. In order for anything to happen, we must feel that someone is loving you and giving you their best. So, you need to go out, get a place to stay, and start showing the love everyone deserves with the hope of finding your truth. Only then will you find your passions and find what makes you truly happy. Enjoy your journey with grace, blessings, compassion, and kindness. Let your emotions run wild and let them lead you to do whatever you choose to do. When you are ready, put your faith in God and trust him to guide you through everything.

One of the dying professor Randy Pausch spoke to the graduating ceremony about the finding passion in life.

We don't beat the reaper by living longer, but by living well, and living fully — for the reaper will come for all of us. The question is: what do we do between the time we're born and the time he shows up. Because when he shows up, it’s too late to do all the things that you’re always gonna, kinda get around to.It is not the things we do in life that we regret on our death bed. It is the things we do not.
